Noontime Brown Bags with Eric Stinson

Join Cooley Head-Gardener, Eric Stinson, for informative talks and tours of Cooley, May - Oct., on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 12:15 – 1:15pm. Meet at the Shed and bring your lunch. Eric will highlight what’s in bloom, and give tips on garden care that you can take home with you.

Early Summer Potluck Picnic in the Gardens

Join us for a membership-drive potluck picnic on Thursday, June 19, 6 – 8pm in the Cooley Pavilion. Come and renew your $15 membership in the Friends of Cooley Gardens, or join for the first time, and you will be entered to win one of several  beautiful door prize rose bushes, complements of Great Lakes Roses! Eric will give us a tour of Cooley featuring roses that are in bloom. Bring a dish to pass, we will provide tableware. Call Diane Robinson for more info: 339-5672.

 

August Music, Wine and Cheese in the Gardens

On Thursday, August 14, from 6 – 8pm, come stroll in the gardens when the annuals are at their peak, listening to the lovely sounds of a string quartet! Renew your $15 membership in the Friends of Cooley Gardens, or join for the first time, and enjoy a sampling of wines and cheeses from around the world.
